Very few Hispanics nominated for an Academy Award in 2017

It is a known fact that Hispanics everywhere love to go to the movies and this makes them the largest ethnic group that contribute the most to this industry. 

Hispanics have made significant progress in Hollywood – in acting, producing, directing, and writing. However, it is still not enough to get nominated for the coveted Academy Award. 

This article below by Santiago Pozo was very well written as he talks about the lack of Latinos being nominated this year, although there are more Blacks nominated as opposed to last year’s complete snub of minorities. Pozo is the CEO of Arenas Entertainment, which is the oldest Hispanic company in Hollywood.
